Another Life update: belated Happy Father’s Day!

My sweet hubby snapped this sunrise photo on his way to work and sent it to me! 😍

Hey guys! sorry for being MIA! I ended up having COVID when I was sick and then, when I started feeling some better, my husband got sick as well— after we got off quarantine and were “clean” again (Lol 😜oh yeah, that terminology was just for Biblical leprosy…but hey, it kinda feels like it with COVID too! )

Then we immediately went into Kids crusade at our church and then it was my husband’s birthday and then Father’s Day! So my life has been crazy. This week, I have been trying to get caught up on all the stuff that I got behind on while sick.

I am working on a more in-depth topic study to post soon— but I wanted to give you all an update —

Also, I want to say happy, howbeit, belated Father’s Day to all the wonderful dads and grandpas out there!! I know I an so blessed to have strong, Godly men in my life! My kids are definitely reaping the benefits of having a Godly father as well. Sometimes as a kid, you don’t fully appreciate those Godly influences God puts in your life until you are much more older and begin to realize that not everyone has had those kind of role models, leaders, and mentors. If you have been blessed with a Godly dad, pastor, grandpa, etc., don’t wait to show your appreciation! Let them know just how much their commitment and devotion means to you! ( to read more of my personal appreciation, click on Father’s Day article link below)

Once again, thanks for all the prayers and well wishes! God is so faithful! I have now survived COVID twice (confirmed) since all this started. I was terrified of it. I have asthma and was so afraid that asthma would compound the illness. But thanks be to God, He was not done with me yet! I know many of wonderful folks who did lose the battle with COVID that God chose to take on home, and I can’t explain that— I am no better than anyone else! Far from it! But I don’t want to fail to say thank you to the Lord for keeping His hand on my husband and I once again. As one dear old sister in our church use to say, He does so much for us and He asks just a little bit — all He wants is for us to praise Him!

— will post longer article soon Lord willing!
