Christ-centered Easter basket ideas

I'm so sorry- this was supposed to go out Friday but I was out of town and I forgot to schedule it .

Hopefully, this post isn't too late now--but I know there is those procrastinators among us --lol 😂--so hopefully it helps inspire someone still yet---

Here is a list of Christ-centered Easter basket ideas for those who wish to make the Easter baskets this year a bit more focused on Jesus!

For babies/Toddlers

  • Bible themed playsets like this wooden Noah's Ark set. (So many other options as well. Just look on Amazon or google for Bible or religious themed playsets! )

  • Plush stuffed animals

  • Religious "sound" books (books that make noises or sing songs like this one)

For younger kids:

  • Bible coloring books/new crayons

  • Bible stories (books)

  • Christian Children's Books

  • a Illustrated or picture Bible

  • Plush animals like a lamb (maybe you could even add an attached tag about Jesus being the Lamb of God)

  • Christian themed reusable sticker books

  • Religious themed puzzles

  • Stickers

  • Candy

  • Age appropriate Bible theme games like Bible trivia, Biblopoly, Old Man Noah, Bible outburst, etc.

Older kids

If you want to add in normal everyday items or items of necessity but still want the focus to be on Christ and the Bible, one idea is to seek out a scripture verse to correlate with the gift.

For instance, a pair of much needed new shoes for your daughter could have the “How beautiful are thy feet with shoes, O prince's daughter! (Song of Solomon‬ ‭7‬:‭1‬‬a) attached via a handwritten or printed tag-- (or even a simple post it note would work!! )

There are so many options! You just have to get a little creative to make it work! Yes, it may entail a bit more planning and creativity on our part as Mama but I promise you, it is gonna be so worth it to keep Christ as the center of our homes-- Remember, it is our job, Mamas, to lead our little ones to the feet of Him who loved us!! Let's use this opportunity to show them Jesus!! 🙌🏼

From my Heart to yours !

PS I have made these Jesus themed baskets many times for my kids -- but for some reason, I couldn't find a single photo to post.... I'm so sorry 😞
