Ok.. a little update:
Unless I am doing a Bible study series that has more than two parts, I am gonna start just posting articles mainly on Fridays and Sundays. I have noticed the reading/views on my midweek (Wednesday) posts over the last several months have decreased while the ones on the weekends seems to have stayed steady or increased slightly…since I have been noticing that, I have decided to cut out the mid week posts (and that’s ok! 😊)… I definitely don’t want to wear people out with too many articles each week. I know most of us are busy mamas/or grandmamas and our weeks are often crazy which makes our time even more valuable…
I don’t want to write just for the sake of writing nor do I want to keep writing too much that it becomes not even worth reading or useful anymore…
Also, with the holidays and our own busy schedules, I recognize the need to take a step back myself …. I want to put out quality content that is encouraging and helpful. I want to always be prayerful and intentional in my writing. Three posts a week (of significant quality) is very time consuming on my part as well. I try to always study and research each topic. I don’t want to just state my own opinion or my interpretation of anything …I simply want to explore what “thus sayeth the Lord” by opening up His Word and breaking it apart to see what He desires of us.
Thank you for your understanding!! I appreciate each and every one of you that even takes the time to read these posts at all. It is humbling!! I am so grateful for the Lord and how He has helped this little “work” ( My goal has never been to have hundreds of readers/subscribers or to have a big “following” or to make money from this—My desire is just to help/encourage someone along the way!!) …
So with that being said, I just want to use wisdom and keep the content relevant and the post frequency at a helpful and non-intrusive manner. 🥰
So, Don’t worry… I’m definitely not quiting…
I love writing these articles! Just look for new content mainly on Fridays and Sundays from now on…. If I post anything on Wednesdays going forward, it will probably be very sporadic—just be an occasional quote, maybe a photo, a “thought of the day” or perhaps a “word of wisdom” ( or maybe even as simple as a “handy homemaking hack”) if at all.
